Three additional children were found to be infected with polio in northern Israel on Thursday, days after an eight-year-old was found to be infected with the virus in Safed. The three were not suffering from any clinical symptoms.
The polio virus has been detected in sewer water across Israel in recent months. Over 150,000 children are still unvaccinated against the virus.
