A bus driver was lightly injured from smoke inhalation on Tuesday evening after his bus was attacked with stones and Molotov cocktails in east Jerusalem, Israel Police said.
The bus had mistakenly entered a Palestinian-majority neighborhood in east Jerusalem, police said. The driver was rushed to a local hospital to receive treatment.
Police officers who arrived at the scene responded with riot control measures after they were also targeted by stones, police added.
