The State Attorney's Office submitted an appeal against the sentencing of psychologist Idan Kosovski, who was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for sexually abusing two minor patients six times.
Prosecutors argued on Sunday that the punishment was not sufficient given the severity of his crimes and his abuse of his position as a therapist who had been tasked with treating the child's mental health. Kosovski's sentence should be increased, the state said, also to deter others in positions of power.
