An 87-year-old man was indicted for murdering his wife with a hammer and screwdriver, the Central District Attorney's Officer announced on Thursday.
In April, Isaac Hawass allegedly killed his wife Valentina by striking her multiple times in the head and upper body while in their Rehovot apartment.
The suspect reportedly washed his hands, hid the tools and his clothes in the bathroom, and then contacted a seniors' center help hotline. Hawass claimed that at least one stranger had entered the house and knocked him out.
