Lakish district traffic coordinator and police officer Jacques Ben Zachri and lawyer Israel Nachmias were convicted in Be'er Sheva District Court on Tuesday of abusing their positions to gain financial profit, according to Maariv.
The two arranged affairs such that all of the traffic accident cases that came to Ben Zachri ended up being referred to Nachmias, artificially increasing his case load and therefore his financial gain.
