The state commission of inquiry investigating the Meron disaster met with Jerusalem Affairs and Jewish Tradition Minister Meir Porush and Yossi Deutsch, the commissioner responsible for the 2023 Lag Ba'Omer celebrations, in order to formulate the commission's final recommendations on Thursday.
Porush and Deutsch presented a summary of this year's Lag Ba'Omer celebrations at Mount Meron to the commission, noting that the commission's interim recommendations were almost fully implemented, except for a number of gaps that require attention ahead of next year's celebration.
