China's commerce ministry said it held a meeting about the anti-espionage law with the American, European, Japanese, and South Korean chambers of commerce as well as more than 30 companies on Friday.
The meeting was chaired by assistant commerce minister, Chen Chunjiang, who said China is committed to creating a fair, transparent and predictable business environment.
