France is trying to mediate between Israel and Hezbollah to prevent a military clash on the northern border, Israeli media reported on Wednesday morning.
The reports said that France's former foreign minister met with Hezbollah representatives on Tuesday on behalf of French President Emmanuel Macron and told them to calm the situation.
