Schools and educational institutions across Israel's Arab sector will strike when Israel's schoolyear resumes on September 1 in protest of the rampant crime and violence in the sector, the national committee of Arab local council heads announced Saturday.
"It is not right that students will go to school in constant fear, and we cannot function without the funding we deserve as per the law," a statement read.
