US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said the administration remains in talks with US airlines about flights to Israel.
American Airlines AAL.O on Tuesday suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv through Dec. 4 and no US carriers are currently flying to Israel.
"We are encouraging airlines both in the US and international partners to safely find ways to help support that mobility," between the United States and Israel, Buttigieg told reporters on the sidelines of an event.
