Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Friday after landing in Beirut on Thursday night, Hezbollah-affiliated media announced on Friday.
The two discussed "recent events and developments in the region" with a focus on the war between Hamas and Israel.
The two also held a "consultation on the responsibilities placed on everyone and the positions that must be taken regarding these historical events and dangerous developments."
Amir-Abdollahian also met with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati during his visit.
