Antisemitic emails sent to Jewish faculty members at UPenn

The FBI and the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) campus police have launched an investigation following a series of threatening anti-Semitic emails sent to Jewish faculty members on campus.

The president of the university, Liz Magill, messaged students and faculty that "several members of our Jewish community have received vicious and disturbing anti-Semitic emails, threatening violence against them." According to her, the messages were aimed directly at the recipients and included personal details.

The threats come amid growing tensions on campuses in the United States following the war between Israel and Hamas.
