China and North Korea have agreed to strengthen strategic communications "at all levels" and deepen their cooperation, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Friday.
The agreement was reached after Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong met with his North Korean counterpart Pak Myong Ho in Pyongyang on Friday, the ministry said in a statement.
Both sides also reaffirmed their "unswerving stance" on maintaining, consolidating and developing bilateral ties, the ministry said.
