Donald Trump asked a US judge to delay the start of his criminal trial on charges of mishandling classified documents after leaving the White House until after 2024, as he tries to recapture the presidency.
US Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is bringing the case against the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination asked for a July 8 start to the trial.
