IDF soldiers destroyed the homes of terrorists who carried out the combined attack in Ra'anana in mid-January, in which 70-year-old Edna Bluestein was murdered, and 20 other civilians were wounded to various degrees.
The IDF and Shin Bet destroyed the homes of Muhammad Zaidat, 44, and Ahmed Zaidat, 24, in the village of Bani Naim, east of the city of Hebron. The IDF and Shin Bet will interrogate other suspects in the area.
The terrorist attack was carried out when one of the terrorists stabbed Bluestein while the other terrorist stole a car and proceeded to carry out ramming attacks in several locations, Israel Police confirmed.
Concurrently, IDF forces, the Shin Bet, and the Border Police operated overnight Wednesday to arrest six wanted persons in the West Bank.
Wanted persons arrested across the West Bank
The soldiers arrested two men in the village of Asira ash-Shamaliya where they arrested another two wanted men. An additional wanted person was arrested in Huwara, and another was arrested in Tsarah.
The wanted persons who were arrested were transferred for further investigation by the security forces. The IDF did not sustain any casualties.
Since the beginning of the war against Hamas, 3,850 wanted persons were arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria Division and the Jordan Valley Division, with approximately 1,650 of them affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization.
