A delegation from the Hamas terrorist movement led by Musa Abu Marzouk met with Chinese deputy foreign minister Deng Li to discuss the war in Gaza, the movement said on Tuesday, according to Palestinian media.
The movement also discussed increasing humanitarian aid from China.
China's Foreign Ministry said earlier on Tuesday that representatives of Hamas and Fatah had met in Beijing to discuss reconciliation between the two feuding Palestinian factions.
