An Israel Air Force aircraft eliminated the Commander of Hamas's Naval unit, Ahmed Ali, in a joint IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) operation in Gaza City in the past day.
Over the last few years, Ali has managed Hamas's Naval Unit projects in the Gaza Strip.
During the war, Ali was responsible for attacks on Israeli territory and against IDF ground troops operating in the Gaza Strip. Over the past week, Ahmed contributed to terrorist activities against IDF troops operating in central Gaza.
