Israel's participant in the Eurovision competition, Eden Golan, landed in Israel on Sunday after coming in fifth place at the European Song Contest in Malmo, Sweden.

“It's a great honor to be here and that I had the opportunity to represent our country, especially in these times,” she said upon landing.

Golan said that her representation of Israel gave a "voice [to] all those that need to be returned home.”

Israel's representative to Eurovision thanked the public at home for being by her side during the competition. She also thanked the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) for protecting the delegation and "returning us home safely," adding, "The most important thing is that we felt safe."
