The IDF published footage on Saturday of the rescue of Noa Argamani from the heart of the Nuseirat refugee camp in a Black Hawk helicopter.
Noa was taken hostage on October 7 from the Nova Music Festival at Re'im. She was rescued by the IDF on Saturday morning along with three other survivors of the massacre.
IDF Special Forces, along with the elite Police Counter-Terrorism unit Yamam, rescued the hostages from the Nuseirat Refugee Camp where they were being held.
The other hostages were airlifted out in a separate helicopter, those include Almog Meir (21,) Andrey Kozlov (27,) and Shlomi Ziv (40,), also rescued from Nuseirat.
Operation Arnon
The only Israeli casualty from the operation was 36-year-old father of two, Ch.-Insp. Arnon Zamora, who succumbed to his wounds in hospital following the operation.
IDF command has decided to rename the operation in his honor to "Operation Arnon," renaming operations in honor of fallen soldiers is a common practice in the IDF, for example, with the 1976 Entebbe Raid being renamed after Yonatan Netanayhu.
