Demonstrators blocked Highway 2 near the Gillot interchange towards Tel Aviv on Monday morning, Ynet reported.
"When hostages are neglected in Gaza, the North is burning, and another war threatens to break out, the government is neglecting the lives of all of us," the demonstrators reportedly stated. "This is an emergency situation. It is clear that Netanyahu is neither fit nor worthy. We are calling for a general shutdown of the economy."
