After a projectile was fired from Syria toward the southern Golan heights on Thursday and fell in an open area, the IDF responded by striking a military post in the area of Tasil, located in southern Syria, the IDF said on Friday morning.
No casualties or damage was reported from the initial Syrian strike into Israel.
