Republican Donald Trump leads Democratic US President Joe Biden in Pennsylvania but trails in Virginia, according to a New York Times/Sienna College poll of registered voters conducted in those states on July 9 to 11 and published on Monday.
The polls, conducted before the attempted assassination of Trump on Saturday, show Trump leads Biden 48% to 44% in Pennsylvania, while in Virginia, Biden leads Trump 46% to 44%.
The poll of 872 registered voters in Pennsylvania had a margin of error of 3.7 percentage points, and the poll of 661 registered voters in Virginia had a margin of error of 4.2 percentage points.
