The United States and Saudi Arabia have signed a framework agreement for cooperation on a range of space issues, from exploration and aeronautics to operations and education, NASA and the US State Department said on Tuesday.
The deal, citing cooperation "for peaceful purposes," sets up a legal framework for the two nations to work together on efforts using airspace and outer space, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration said in a statement. It was signed on Monday, the State Department said separately.
