Khameini then stated, "The coordination that exists between the various factions in Lebanon and their backing of the positions and decisions of the Resistance is a testament to Hezbollah's success in that country’s political landscape."
The topic of the conversation between the two is rumored to be a discussion of a military response to the Israeli airstrike in Beirut, in which senior Hezbollah official Fuad Shukr was killed, Maariv reported, citing a report on Saudi Arabia's Al-Hadad network.
