Britain not imposing arms embargo on Israel with export restrictions, says UK's Lammy

British foreign minister David Lammy on Monday said that newly-announced suspension on arms export licences to Israel were not a blanket ban or an arms embargo.

"This is not a blanket ban, this is not an arms embargo," Lammy told parliament as he announced the suspension of 30 of the 350 UK licences to export arms to Israel.
