The IDF conducted a joint operation with the Israel Police and identified the attempted smuggling of weapons close to the Na'aran settlement in the Jordan Valley of the West bank on Monday, the military reported on Tuesday.
After "suspicious activity" was detected in the area, IDF troops arrived on the scene and located four handguns and a shotgun, according to the report.
The weapons were transferred to the Israel Police for further processing.
