Police Commissioner Daniel Levi published a letter to the police on Tuesday following homophobic statements exposed by N12, where he came under fire for the remarks on Sunday, Israeli media reported.
In the letter, Levi wrote, "The Israel Police, under my leadership, is obligated to protect all citizens of the country. We will make sure that each and everyone receives fair, respectful, and equal treatment."
