The IDF is free to act against Hezbollah anywhere in Lebanon, "depending on the location of the targets," an Israeli diplomatic source said.
The source rejected a report on KAN News that the political echelon had ordered the IDF to hold its fire in Beirut over the last three days.
"The report on the supposed instruction of the political echelon to the IDF to stop or reduce attacks in Beirut is completely false," the source said.
