BRICS countries are deeply concerned by the negative influence of "unlawful sanctions" on the global economy and worried by the continuing conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa, country leaders said in a joint declaration on Wednesday.
They also noted "national proposals" for mediation in the Ukrainian conflict, but did not name the nations in question.
