All the targeted Hezbollah infrastructure was located in densely populated civilian areas, the IDF said.

Over the past two days, multiple waves of strikes were carried out in Dahiyeh, targeting over 30 terror targets.

According to the IDF, all targeted terror infrastructure was located in densely populated civilian areas, "highlighting yet another instance of Hezbollah's cynical use of Lebanese civilians as human shields in urban centers."

The IDF noted that prior to the strikes, steps were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including preliminary intelligence gathering, monitoring, and advanced warning to civilians to evacuate.

IDF issues evacuation warnings

These attacks follow IDF Spokesperson in Arabic Avichay Adraee calling for the evacuation of the Shoufat al-Omrousiya and al-Ghobeiry areas in southern Beirut in a post to X/Twitter.

Adraee wrote that residents were located near Hezbollah facilities, and the IDF would operate against these targets, and said to evacuate no less than 500 meters from these areas.

The IDF stated that it would continue to target Hezbollah terror infrastructure in the Dahiyeh area of Beirut.
