Trains stopped at Tel Aviv Haganah station after criminal suspect flees police onto train tracks

Train traffic was stopped from Tel Aviv's Haganah station to the Savidor station on Wednesday after police stopped and identified a suspect near the train tracks, police said in a statement.

Border police officers were in pursuit of the suspect, who physically climbed onto the train tracks, which caused the trains to be delayed so that the officers could capture him, The Jerusalem Post learned.

Train activity has returned to normal.
