Home of terrorist who killed three police officers in shooting to be demolished

Sa'oudah was responsible for killing three police officers: Deputy Superintendent Arik Ben Eliyahu, Chief Warrant Officer Hadas Barantz, and Chief Warrant Officer Roni Shakuri.

A demolition order was issued on Wednesday for the home of terrorist Muhannad Al-Sa’oudah, who carried out the shooting attack near the Tarkumiya checkpoint in September, according to Thursday Israeli media reports.

Sa'oudah was responsible for killing three police officers: Deputy Superintendent Arik Ben Eliyahu, Chief Warrant Officer Hadas Barantz, and Chief Warrant Officer Roni Shakuri.

Israeli troops had to search for the terrorist after the shooting occured.

Eventually, security forces surrounded Al-Sa’oudah at his Hebron home, killing him in an exchange of fire, the military and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) said.

Ben Eliyahu, 37, from Kiryat Gat, left behind a wife, three children, parents, and two sisters.

Branch, 53, of Sde Moshe, left behind a husband, three children, a granddaughter, parents, and five siblings.

Shakuri, 61, from Sderot, left behind a wife, a daughter, a granddaughter, and three siblings.

Defending Sderot police station on October 7 

Shakuri was the father of St.-Sgt.-Maj. Mor Shakuri who was killed by a Hamas sniper on October 7 while defending the Sderot police station.
