Myanmar's ruling junta said on Wednesday the country was not a member of the International Criminal Court and did not recognize its statements, responding to Reuters after the ICC's prosecutor said an arrest warrant would be sought for its top general.
The ministry of information in an emailed response to Reuters also said Myanmar had a free and unbiased foreign policy and peacefully coexisted with other countries.
