Turkey's foreign minister and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres discussed the transition period in Syria after President Bashar al-Assad's ousting by rebels and possible steps to rebuild the country, a Turkish Foreign Ministry source said on Monday.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Guterres also discussed access to humanitarian aid in Syria, the source said. The two exchanged ideas on what the UN could do to help rebuild Syria, the person added.
