Blue and White leader Benny Gantz was sworn in on Sunday at the Knesset as the “vice and future prime minister” due to his coalition agreement with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ynet reported.
Gantz is currently the official vice prime minister and is meant to replace Netanyahu after a year and a half as part of their unity government agreement.
