A 59-year-old bus driver was seriously injured after being stabbed in the neck with a broken beer bottle in Safed on Wednesday, according to the Bus Drivers Union.
Netiv Express, the driver's employer, ignored the incident and barred the union from striking over the uptick in violent attacks on bus drivers, usually due to drivers demanding that passengers wear masks, the union said.
