A car fell into the Dead Sea on Thursday after the driver lost consciousness, killing one and injuring another.
Passers-by noticed the vehicle and were able to get the two people inside it out while paramedics were notified.
Magen David Adom medics were unable to resuscitate the driver, a 30-year-old man, but have given medical treatment to a 23-year-old woman who was also in the car.
The woman's injuries were mild and she did not need to be evacuated to the hospital.
The driver reportedly fell unconscious after suffering a seizure.
