BEIJING, March 22 - China has lodged stern representations with the United States over sanctions on Chinese firms related to North Korea, Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang told a daily news briefing on Friday.
The United States imposed sanctions on two Chinese shipping companies it says helped North Korea evade sanctions over its nuclear weapons program, the first such steps since a U.S.-North Korean summit collapsed last month.
