Some 218 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Saturday, with 2.9% of tests returning positive, according to a Health Ministry update on Sunday morning. Out of those infected, 399 are in serious condition and 176 are on ventilators. The death toll rose overnight to 2,541.
