Some 4,447 people tested positive for the coronavirus Monday, indicating a positive rate of 7.9%, according to the Health Ministry.
Some 935 people remain in serious condition, among them 268 on respirators. The new figures represent the lowest numbers in a month and a half.
The death toll from the virus rose to 5,414 people.
