651 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Wednesday, with 96 patients in serious condition, according to a Thursday morning update by the Health Ministry.
Of those infected, 54 were on ventilators. The death toll stood at 8,210.
4,112,353 Israelis had received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Thursday morning.
