Coronavirus in Israel: 7,668 new cases, 9.2% tests return positive

Some 7,668 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Wednesday, with 9.2% of tests returning positive, according to a Thursday morning update by the Health Ministry.
Of those infected, 1,132 were in serious condition and 306 were on ventilators. The death toll rose from 4,513 on Wednesday morning to 4,609 on Thursday morning.
