Coronavirus in Israel: 7,919 new cases, 9.3% tests positive

There were 7,919 new coronavirus cases in Israel in the past day, the Health Ministry announced Wednesday morning.
The ministry also announced that it had conducted 88,503 tests, with around 9.3% of them returning a positive result. Some 1,074 current patients are in serious condition, with 292 intubated. The death toll is 4,888.
