Druze leader says 'behind closed doors' many want Nation-State Law changed

Brig.-Gen. (res.) Amal Asad, the Druze leader of the Task Force to Amend the Nation-State Law, said many people have told him "behind closed doors" that the controversial law needs to be fixed.
Asad told Army Radio on Sunday that while he did not have issues with the overall idea of the Nation-State Law, certain clauses in the legislation passed in July made Druze in Israel second-class citizens.
