A senior justice system official who is being investigated by Israel Police was the victim of a false complaint, Walla! reported on Thursday.
The complaint revealed information on serious offenses, punishable by a lengthy prison term.
It was previously reported that the offense being investigated by police is "so serious that it carries implications beyond the suspect himself, to the point of endangering life," a source told Maariv.
