Ecology researchers at the University of Haifa say they have discovered a rare two-headed salamander in one of their laboratories. Scientists at the institute said that while they have encountered cases of salamanders with multiple organs, it is extremely rare to find a creature with two heads. Experts do not know the cause of the deformation, though they do suspect that it stems either from pollution of water sources or radiation.
