Funeral for former Jerusalem post editor-in-chief to be held Monday

The funeral for former Jerusalem Post editor-in-chief Ari Rath will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Kibbutz Givat Hashlosha near Petah Tikva.

Rath died on Friday in Vienna – where he was born – just a week after his 92nd birthday. He served as editor of the Post from 1979 until 1989, and continued to work as a writer and journalist afterward.

After spending most of his life in Israel, he returned to live in Austria in 2007.
