Government approves closure of five ministries

The Israeli government has approved the closure of several ministries that have operated until now, a statement from the Prime Minister's Office said on Monday.
The ministries impacted are the Water Resources Ministry, the National Digital Ministry, Strategic Affairs, the Community Empowerment and Advancement Ministry, and the Higher Education ministry which will be absorbed into the already existing Education Ministry instead.
