According to a Hamas Spokesman, the organization agreed to a 12 hour ceasefire in the Gaza Strip following a proposal by US Secretary of State John Kerry. Israel had previously accepted the proposed ceasefire unilaterally. The ceasefire is set to go into effect at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
