IDF: Iron Dome intercepted a rocket fired on Israel Saturday morning

A rocket fired on Israel Saturday morning was intercepted by Iron Dome, IDF Spokespersons Unit said.Air sirens sounded in Sha'ar HaNegev and Sdot Negev Regional Councils on Saturday morning as Hamas fired rockets on southern Israel.Islamic Jihad warned Israel that it is "testing the quality and increased response range [of the rockets] should Israel continue its aggressive violence."During the Friday March of Return protests 5 Palestinians were killed by IDF sniper fire and 85 were injured, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.Protesters burned tires and threw explosive devices, hand grenades and Molotov cocktails at IDF soldiers. The IDF responded with protest dispersal methods.
